This extensive addition and renovation to a single family home on a lushly landscaped site is the first in the area to register for Living Building Challenge (LBC) Petal Certification. LBC certification is based on regenerative projects focused on producing on-site more than it consumes, far surpassing the standards of LEED certification. In this case the team is working toward Net-Positive energy goals as well as greatly reduced water usage.
